View 3 ImagesArsenal have taken some major flak over the last few years for their transition away from attacking football. Mikel Arteta's side arguably have the best defence in Europe but it is yet to result in trophies being won.
That could change this season with Arsenal in the Champions League semi-finals and top of the Premier League table. The title race against Manchester City looks set to go down to the wire after three consecutive wins for Pep Guardiola's side, one of which was against Arsenal.
Haaland grabbed the winner in that clash at Etihad Stadium with City beating Chelsea and Burnley either side of that. He also scored the decisive strike in the latter triumph and made his title race feelings clear in the aftermath.
He told Sky Sports: “We had a lot of chances. But I’m happy we won, and that’s the most important thing.

“Anything else, don’t think, just try to win. It’s all about winning, no matter how. We tried to play our football and just tried to win. That’s what you have in your mindset."
Over that same period, Arsenal lost to Bournemouth but did beat Newcastle United last weekend to return to the summit.
Their next clash is in Europe with the north Londoners facing Atletico Madrid in Spain with the return leg set for next Tuesday at Emirates Stadium, three days on from the visit of Fulham in the Premier League.
West Ham United, Burnley and Crystal Palace are Arsenal's domestic opponents for the remaining weeks and they will be hoping to face one of Bayern or PSG at the end of May.
Arteta was asked about the coming month and the special things that could be achieved. He said: "That's the way we are all feeling, and that's the energy that I feel amongst the team and the club.

"And now is the moment to make a statement and show how good we are, how much we want it, and make it happen; it's clear. The opportunity is in front of us, and we have to attack it."
Arteta will need his best players available for the run-in with Bukayo Saka back and Eberechi Eze avoiding an injury scare to be fit for the trip to Spain. Kai Havertz has been confirmed out however, with Jurrien Timber also still on the sidelines and Arteta unsure if he will play again this season.
He said: "We don't know yet. He's doing some stuff on the pitch at the moment. But we need to get the gears up and be able to do more things before he can come back to us."
